R&D

The engineering and Research & Development departments consist of Opto-Mechanics engineers, software engineers, and hardware engineers who are among the best in their field. To test, develop and create our products we use the most advanced technologies available on the market. Using these cutting-edge tools, along with our team’s innovative thinking and problem-solving abilities, we are able to overcome any customers’ size and quality challenges.

Dagan-Optics invests heavily in the research & development of new algorithms for thermal imagers. From state-of-the-art calibration to customized applications like target detection and tracking, image fusion, concept and feasibility studies (MATLAB), and overseeing hardware implementation (Verilog, VHDL).

These days most of Dagan-Optics’ R&D efforts concentrate on advanced applications of LWIR+CMOS sensor fusion.
